Habbit


 All our habits , positive and negative are related to 

1. Process : It is like part of routine. OR it is due to RAJAS GUNA. OR some qualities like greed, laziness etc.

2. Outcome: It generates some visible, tangible/intangible  outcome. OR our desire for some result, tangible/intangible  outcome

3. Personality: some personal traits, beliefs, value, self concept, memory of some past incident. 

All habits have some root cause behind it. 

Motivation to change habit: 

- Autonomy : Some more power, authenticity, freedom

- Competence : skill

- Relatedness : How it benefits me. Having some better reason to quit the habit. 

We shall replace our habit with better habit.

1.अजीर्णे भोजनं विषम् ।

If previously taken Lunch is not digested, taking Dinner will be equivalent to taking Poison. Hunger is one signal that the previous food is digested 
2.अर्धरोगहारी निद्रा ।

Proper sleep cures half of the diseases.

3. मूढ़गढ़ाल्ली गढ़व्याली।

Of all the Pulses, Green grams are the best. It boosts Immunity. Other Pulses all have one or the other side effects.

4.बागनास्थी संधानकारो रसोनहा।

Garlic even joins broken Bones. 
5.अति सर्वत्र वर्जयेत।

Anything consumed in Excess,just because it tastes good,is not good for Health. Be moderate.

6. नास्थिमूलम् अनौषधाम्
There is No Vegetable that has no medicinal benefit to the body. 
7. नां वैध्यः प्रभुरायुशाह ।

No Doctor is Lord of our Longevity. Doctors have limitations.

8. चिंता व्याधि प्रकाश्य।

Worry aggravates ill health.

Do any Exercise slowly. Speedy exercise is not good. 
10. अजावथ चर्वनाम कुर्यात।

Chew your Food like a Goat. Never Swallow food in a hurry. Saliva aids first in digestion.

11. स्नानम् नामा मानहप्रसाधनकरम् धुस्वप्न विध्वसनम्
Bath removes Depression. It drives away Bad Dreams. 
12. ना स्नानम् आचारेठ भुक्थवा।
Never take Bath immediately after taking Food Digestion is affected.

13. नास्थि मेघासमाम् थोयम्
 No water matches Rainwater in purity.

14. अजीर्णे भेषजम् वारी।
Indigestion can be addressed by taking plain water. 
15. सर्वत्र नूथनाम सस्थाम सेवकाने पुर्रथनम।

Always prefer things that are Fresh. Old Rice and Old Servant need to be replaced with new. (Here what it actually means in respect of Servant is: Change his Duties and not terminate.) 
16. नित्यम् सर्वा रास्सभ्याश।

Take complete Food that has all tastes viz: Salt, Sweet, Bitter, Sour, Astringent and Pungent).

17. जटाराम पूरायेधरधाम अन्नाहि।

Fill your Stomach half with Solids, a quarter with Water and rest leave it empty. 
18. भुक्थवोपा विसथास्थंद्र।

Never sit idle after taking Food. Walk for at least half an hour.

19. क्षुथ साधुथाम जनयथि।

Hunger increases the taste of food. In other words, eat only when hungry.

20. चिंता जर्रानाम् मनुष्याणाम्
 Worrying speeds up ageing.. 
21. शतं विहाय भोक्तव्यम्
When it is time for food, keep even 100 jobs aside. 

Eye Exercises


Sunning
Sway the body, L to R and R to L 100 times

Trifala Eye wash

0.5 tea-spoon (1 tea-spoon) of Trifala Churn put it 250 ml (200 ml) boiling water for 3 to 4 min (3 to 5 min). keep it over night. morning make it luke warm. filter with 3 to 4 fold (thick) of clean cloth. put it in eye wash cup. 

Prepare for 2 -3 days quantity. keep it in fridge. take out and keep it at room temperature. it is not as effective as fresh one. 

it should be everyday. clean with soft cloth around eyes. do not press eyes. close your eyes for few seconds. 

Brand: SNPandit, Dabour, Amrua, VadyaNath

1. Blink eyes 5 times
2. 5 time clock wise
3. 5 time anti-clock wise
4. 5 time L side blink
5. 5 time R side blink
Repeat 3 times

Squeezing 
blinking 10 times
fast blink 5 x (clock + anticlock) 
10 round: squeeze eye and breath in , breath out and relax
Repeat 3 times
Palming

Grill Swinging 200 times. Blink every time

Prana Mudra
first two fingers are straight. thumb, ring and pinky are connected
Apaan Vayu Mudra
first finger at bottom of thumb. pinky straight. thumb, middle and ring are connected

Eye Ball movement
1. up and down  : Simple palming
2. left and right : Simple palming
3. diagonal 1:  (press and release) OR (Constant Pressure) 
4. diagonal 2 : (press and release) OR (Constant Pressure) 
5. clock wise : (press and release) OR (Constant Pressure) 
6. anti clock wise: (press and release)

Jyoti Trataka (Candle Exercise)

* Read
* Gaze 3 round: 60 s gaze + 30 s rest
* sift Gaze: move forward and backward 60 times

0. Chant OM. always open eye with blink and start with bottom of candle/stand. gently move your gaze. 

1. simple effortless gazing for 30 to 35 seconds (Press and Release Palming.)

2. look at details, steady gaze at wick of the candle: size different colors (golden, orange, yellow. black at center). of flame (constant pressure Palming with breathing)

3. defocus flame. be aware about surrounding of flame, its aura etc. close eye and connect it to 3rd eye. ANTAR Trataka. Recollect all details of flame. (Palming with Bhramari) (make sanklpa for good vision) 

spec is optional 
If possible do not blink. 
allow water to come out. 

4. 10 to 12 min of palming. spec shall be removed. 

5. three rounds of OM

6. Three fingers feather touch massage for face. Bring palm in front of you and then with blink of open eye. 

7. wash eyes with splash of cool water. 

Distance 2 feet to 4 feet.
You can do it every day. First to do preparation. First do daily first stage only. start with 10 seconds then increase 20 seconds, 30 seconds and so on. last stage is 2x or 3x
At least once in 15 days.

* cool pads cucumber
* cotton deep in cold milk OR rose water and keep it on eyes for 10 to 15 seconds. 

Distance chart reading

1. 30 second read near chart
2. 30 second visualize
3. 30 second read distance chart
4. 30 second rest

200 times V
200 times opposite of U
Blink every time

Jatru Trataka 

1. Up and Down
2. Right and Left
3. diagonal LT to RB
4. diagonal RT to LB
5. forward and backward: tip of nose
6. Both Right and Left = defocus
7. 3rd Eye
